Tom was a deeply religious person and frequently made pilgrimages to places of worship. Thomas disappeared at the age of 31, in 2003. He was in Italy, in the town of Ancona, when he withdrew some money from an ATM. But from there – there has been no contact from Thomas to his family. Before his disappearance Tom would often go travelling, on religious pilgrimages, and who would sometimes disappear for periods of time. Tom’s family hope, that he will be found alive and well.

This website charts some of the coverage, podcasts, press campaigns and efforts made by Tom’s family to find him.  You will see scenes of Tom before his disappearance as well as some of the journeys and searches his family have done and some of the key supporters including Pete Doherty and family relative Michael Douglas.

Pete Doherty joins the search for Missing Tom

Created by artist Nick Reynolds and titled ‘For Pete’s Sake,’ this highly controversial and challenging work was on public display in London’s St. Marylebone Parish Church in 2015 as part of the ‘Stations of the Cross’ exhibition curated by Ben Moore who has been searching for his missing brother Tom since 2003.

UnMissable is an exhibition of portraits of missing people curated by Ben Moore. The series of 20 portraits was unveiled at The Other Art Fair hosted by Saatchi Art in March 2019. Moore was commissioned by the Missing People Charity to curate ‘UnMissable’ to mark their 25th Anniversary.
